As the evenings draw in, we approach the end of our Summer Season at Irvine Camera Club and start to look forward to our Autumn season of talks, competitions and practical evenings.

This week's collection of images was captured during an evening visit to Prestwick Beach.  A suitable end to our season of Summerwalks with members of Irvin Camera Club taking a stroll along the promenade south towards the golf course to see what they could photography along the way.

The weather once again was unpredictable, but every now and again some sun got through, which along with the stormy clouds, made for some stunning light and added interest to the views on offer.

Although this was the last Summer photo walk and the club is now back meeting weekly with a full season of events to look forward to, we are still heading out every month on walks so to find out more check the diary on the website or come along to see what we are up to at one of our meetings..

The Autumn seasons is now underway with a packed season of talks, competitions and practical evenings. We meet on Tuesdays, starting at 7.30 at Irvine Community Sports Club, Waterside, Marress Roundabout, Irvine KA12 8DL

If you have an interest in photography, would like to see what we are up to and want to be part of an exciting, all-inclusive club then why not come along, you will be made to feel very welcome.  There’s always tea, coffee and biscuits and it you’re lucky Fiona may have been baking.
