Happy New Year! This year at Irvine Camera Club looks like being the busiest ever with a growing membership, a photography studio workspace for members to book, weekly meetings, talks and competitions and a busy social media presence with a weekly Facebook competition. Add to all that our involvement with local community groups there is something for everyone to get involved with.
Over the holiday season members were asked what their favourite photo they had taken during 2023 was.
For some it was a mastery of a technique, a beautiful scene, something poignant, or an image that evokes strong memories for them. The images presented here are a small selection of those submitted and show the diverse nature of photography and of the interests of our members.
Our full programme of talks, events and competitions that take place throughout the autumn and winter has just started. We meet on Tuesdays starting at 7.30 at Irvine Community Sports Club, Waterside, Marress Roundabout, Irvine KA12 8DL
